Having attended Rollhard’s first show back in 2016 I was happy to find that they will be returning back for another show during this year’s season. Cressing Temple Barns worked a treat last year, a lot of greenery, historic-looking buildings and barns, and a massive field round the back to designate towards the general car park and a show and shine area.
It’s hard to replicate the exact feeling of the first show on the second go. Last year, the atmosphere was laid back and no one was in a rush. It was a relaxed day in the sun, surrounded by amazing cars from the UK and Europe. This year’s show did a good job at echoing last year’s recipe. There was a number of high quality cars from Europe, the sun was shining and the location still maintained the charm it had a year ago.
This year’s show was actually pretty significant to me too, as it was the first time ever I applied my own car to a show and got accepted! I made sure my car was looking its best on Saturday, and woke up early on Sunday for the drive down to Essex.
Let me show you around some of the cars on show…

As you can see right off the bat, the Rollhard team stuck true to their roots and made sure the show was for everyone. A wide variety of cars was definitely present during the show, and I often found myself doing full loops of cars as there was always something interesting that caught my eye.

Like last year, Rollhard’s Belgian division came down for the show in full force. In fact, Will and I are attending Rollhard’s Belgian Chapter later this month! This little teaser got us even more excited for our trip. And of course, we’ll be doing full coverage of that show.

The rest of the village was filled with some of the best cars the UK has to offer, take a look.

The great thing about Rollhard is that they aren’t 100% focused on stance alone. I love a track spec’d hatchback, and more than once during the show I found myself wishing I could just hop into the car and experience blasting it around the surrounding country roads.

I must admit though, I spent an hour queuing up for a Chinese for lunch. Bless the lady serving it, she was on her own and decided to take a 20 minute break literally as soon as I was next in the queue. Not a problem, but after queuing up for 40 minutes in the sun you could imagine the look on my face when she told me she’s stopping for 20 minutes. This unfortunately meant that I didn’t start taking photos until quite late on, and by the time I got round to the Green a lot of the cars were already heading towards the exit as the show was finishing.
At least, that’s my excuse for not taking as many photos as I should have – sorry!

Hey look, it’s my E46!

And just before I decided to head home, I did a one last minute loop of the village just to snap some cars which I originally missed.

So, I hope you enjoyed our brief look into this year’s Rollhard show. It was a pleasure to attend, as we’ll be back again next year!
I also want to point out that we saw a lot of Candy stickers and banners at the show, thank you to everyone who supports us! We have a few cool things in the pipeline, and we’ll be sure to keep you updates with what we’re up to.
Next time, we’ll be in Belgium. See you there!
